What are monthly events?Monthly Performing Arts Events are designed to give students exciting opportunities to learn, grow, and connect outside of traditional weekly lessons. Each event is centered around a unique theme and may include acting workshops, vocal coaching, performance activities, games, creative projects, guest artists, and more. Whether your student is brand new to the performing arts or already loves being on stage, these events are designed to be welcoming, engaging, and a whole lot of fun.
Upcoming September Event - The Improv Olympics
Come spend the day laughing, creating, and thinking on your feet! We’ll begin with improv masterclasses where you’ll learn new games, build confidence, and sharpen your skills. Then it’s time for the Improv Olympics! You’ll join a team representing your own “country” and compete in a series of improv challenges for the chance to win gold medals…and a surprise grand prize. (I’m not telling you what it is yet. 😉) Whether you’re brand new to improv or already love it, you’ll leave with new skills, new friends, and a lot of laughs.

What to ExpectEvery Monthly Performing Arts Event is designed to be more than just a class. My goal is for students to leave with new skills, new friendships, and the confidence that comes from trying something new in a fun, encouraging environment. Here’s what you can expect every time you join us:
❋ Immersive Performing Arts EventThese events are built to get students up on their feet! Instead of spending the day sitting and listening, students will be actively participating through games, performances, challenges, and hands-on activities. They’ll be learning the entire time, but they’ll be having so much fun they won’t even realize how much they’re growing.
❋ Lifelong Friendships.One of my favorite things about the performing arts has always been the community. Some of my closest friendships were built through music and theatre, and I want these events to create that same sense of belonging for today’s students. My hope is that these monthly events become more than just something fun to do. I want them to become a place where students build friendships that continue through future events, lessons, and eventually our full performing arts program.
❋ Expert TrainingEvery activity is designed with a purpose. Students won’t just be told what to do. They’ll learn why they’re doing it and how those skills apply both on and off the stage. Every instructor will bring years of experience and a passion for teaching, helping students grow in a fun, encouraging, and meaningful way.
❋ A major creativity and confidence boost! There is something truly special about watching a student discover they’re capable of more than they ever imagined. Even in just one day, it’s amazing to see the confidence, creativity, and willingness to take risks begin to grow. My hope is that every student leaves feeling proud of themselves, excited to keep learning, and just a little more confident than when they walked through the door.

These events are designed for students entering 4th through 9th grade. Whether your student has years of experience or has never stepped on a stage before, they are welcome here! Activities are designed so everyone can participate, grow, and have fun regardless of their experience level.

Yes! Every Monthly Performing Arts Event is completely standalone, so students can attend just one or come to every event throughout the year. While returning students will continue building friendships and confidence, there are no required prerequisites, and every event will be a brand-new experience.

Nope! These are drop-off events, so parents are welcome to enjoy a few hours to themselves while students spend the day learning, creating, and making new friends. I’ll send plenty of information before each event so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

It depends on the event! If an event runs over a typical mealtime, lunch will generally be provided. For shorter events, we’ll usually have light snacks and water available instead. All of the details, including food, schedule, and anything students need to bring, will be shared before registration opens for each event.
Why monthly events matter!
Every Monthly Performing Arts Event is another step toward something bigger. While these events are designed to be an incredible experience on their own, they’re also helping build the foundation for our very first summer performing arts program. Every registration helps fund things like performance rights, costumes, sets, equipment, and all of the behind-the-scenes pieces that make a high-quality theatre program possible. More importantly, these events give students a chance to build friendships, grow as performers, and become part of the community we’re creating long before the curtain rises on our very first production.

Pre-registration is completely free and simply lets us know you’re interested.
