Meet Mrs. G
One of my favorite parts of teaching has always been getting to know each student as an individual. In a classroom, I loved helping students discover their strengths, but there was never enough time to truly personalize every student’s experience. That’s what led me to private lessons.
I believe every student learns differently, has different goals, and deserves instruction that’s built specifically for them. Whether a student wants to prepare for an audition, build confidence, strengthen their singing voice, become a better actor, or simply discover a love for the performing arts, every lesson is designed around their unique journey.
While I’m stepping away from the traditional classroom to spend more time with my family, I’m incredibly excited to continue doing what I love most: helping young performers grow. My goal isn’t just to help students become stronger singers or actors. It’s to help them become confident, creative, and resilient young people who believe in themselves both on and off the stage.

Every student is different, and that’s exactly how I believe lessons should be. Whether your goal is preparing for auditions, building confidence, improving your vocal technique, or simply finding a place to grow and have fun, we’ll create a lesson plan that’s designed just for you. Here’s a quick overview of how lessons are structured.
Lesson Lengths
Lessons are available in 30, 60, and 90-minute sessions, with different lesson lengths available depending on how often you’d like to meet. Together, we’ll find the combination of lesson length and frequency that best supports your student’s goals and schedule.

Availability
Lessons will primarily be offered on weekday evenings between 4:00 and 8:00 PM, along with weekend availability. Depending on the needs of the families who submit interest forms, weekend lessons may be scheduled as one full weekend day or split between Saturday and Sunday mornings or afternoons. Final lesson times will be determined after interest forms are submitted so I can build a schedule that works well for as many families as possible. Families who submit their interest forms by the priority deadline will have the first opportunity to choose from the available lesson times.
Showcase Opportunities
Every student will work toward a semesterly showcase, giving them the opportunity to celebrate their growth and share what they’ve been learning with family and friends. These showcases provide students with meaningful performance experience while giving them a fun goal to work toward throughout the semester.

After the priority interest deadline, I’ll create a proposed lesson schedule based on everyone’s availability. Families will receive their proposed lesson time and have an opportunity to request changes before schedules are finalized. My goal is to create a schedule that works well for as many families as possible while giving early interest submissions the best selection of lesson times.

Lessons are currently offered in your home within my service area. Teaching in a familiar environment helps many students feel more comfortable and allows families to avoid adding another stop to their busy schedules.

Private lessons are available for students entering 4th grade through 12th grade. Lessons are personalized to each student’s age, experience level, and individual goals.

That depends on your student’s goals! Weekly lessons are the best option for students preparing for auditions, performances, or looking for steady growth, while biweekly or monthly lessons can be a great fit for students with busy schedules or those looking for additional support alongside school activities.

Voice students are welcome to work on musical theatre, classical, choir music, audition pieces, solos, and more. Lessons are built around each student’s interests while helping them develop strong, healthy vocal technique.

Not at all! While having a piano or keyboard at home is incredibly helpful for students taking voice lessons, it’s not required to get started. I’ll bring a keyboard with me to each lesson. If your student plans to continue lessons long-term, I do recommend investing in a keyboard so they have the opportunity to practice between lessons.

Every new student begins with a free consultation before lessons officially start. This gives us a chance to meet, talk about your student’s goals and experience, answer any questions, and make sure we’re a great fit for one another before committing to a regular lesson schedule.

I currently travel throughout much of the west Denver metro area, generally serving families west of I-25 and north of C-470/US-285, with some flexibility depending on scheduling. If you’re unsure whether you’re within my service area, feel free to submit an interest form or contact me. I’m always happy to see if we can make it work!
Bartering OpportunitiesI believe every student deserves access to the performing arts, and I know that private lessons aren’t always possible for every family. That’s why I offer a limited number of bartering opportunities each semester.
If you have a skill, service, or business that you’d like to trade in exchange for lessons, I’d love to hear your idea! Whether it’s photography, graphic design, home services, professional expertise, or something completely different, I’m always open to creative possibilities. Every barter arrangement is considered on a case-by-case basis to make sure it’s a great fit for both of us.

Lesson Timeline

Submit your interest form by August 15 to receive priority scheduling and be included in the first round of lesson placements.

I’ll send each family a proposed lesson day and time based on the availability submitted in their interest form.

Families review their proposed lesson time and let me know if any adjustments are needed. Final lesson schedules will be confirmed after this date.
